Delivered by a qualified emergency responder and instructor with over 17 years in emergency services, this course is ideal for anyone looking to learn or refresh vital life-saving techniques. How to assess a collapsed casualty (Primary Survey – DR ABC) Performing high-quality adult CPR (including chest compressions and rescue breaths) Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Safety protocols when using a defibrillator Dealing with unconscious casualties (Recovery Position) Managing a choking casualty (Adult) Duration: 2 to 3 hours (single session) Certification: Certificate of attendance (valid for 1 year) Can be used to supplement workplace emergency training Meets current UK resuscitation guidelines Who Should Attend: Office staff, retail staff, schools, and care environments Gym instructors, sports coaches, personal trainers Volunteers and community workers Anyone who wants the confidence to help in a cardiac emergency No prior first aid experience required.
