Hi, I’m Andrew Clarke, founder of Imperium Safety Solutions and a full-time firefighter.
For nearly two decades, I’ve worked on the front lines of emergencies. I’ve seen the difference that good training makes, the kind that gives people the confidence to stay calm, take action, and quite literally save lives.
My journey began in the fire service, where I’ve served for over 18 years. Along the way, I’ve taken on roles such as Breathing Apparatus Instructor and trauma care instructor, sharing knowledge with fellow firefighters and gaining a deep understanding of how people respond in real emergencies.
Over the years, I’ve also delivered first aid training for other companies, including instructing on hostile environment awareness courses, where I taught essential first aid and trauma skills for people working in high-risk settings. These experiences have shown me the value of clear, practical training, especially when people might find themselves in unpredictable or dangerous environments.

That’s what inspired me to launch Imperium Safety Solutions. I wanted to bring together my real-world experience and passion for teaching to offer first aid and safety training that’s down-to-earth, engaging, and built around what people actually need to know. Whether it's a one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course, Fire Marshal training, or a Forestry First Aid course, my aim is always the same: to help people feel confident and prepared when it counts.
What makes Imperium different is that I don’t just teach from a textbook; I teach from experience. I keep things practical, hands-on, and relevant to real life. No death-by-PowerPoint, no waffle, just clear, useful knowledge delivered in a way that sticks.
If you’re a business looking to protect your people, or someone who just wants to feel more capable in an emergency, I’d love to help.
Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit about me — feel free to reach out any time if you’d like to chat.
